To whom it my concern: I added another vehicle to my existing insurance policy recently and received the papers in the mail, which the insurance company wanted me to review, then sign and fax back to them. Insurance policies are confusing to me at the best of times, so needless to say, having to figure this all out for two vehicles was very frustrating for me. After first calling my Insurance company to ask them to help me sort it all out, I was still not quite sure what it would be, that I would be agreeing to, by signing the form, I decided to call my provider law firm, here in Edmonton, Alberta, hoping they would explain it to me in language that I could understand. Well!! Not only did the lawyer who promptly return my call explain it to my complete understanding, but five minutes after we started going over the policy, my phone beeped, so I asked him if he would hold for a few seconds while I took another call, (I was expecting an important call). The second call said he was with [the provider law firm] and that he was calling to go over my insurance policy with me, so needless to say, I was scratching my head, trying to figure out what was going on, but I didn't want to keep the first lawyer on hold, so I asked him to call me back in 10 minutes, or so. After the first lawyer finished explaining everything to my satisfaction (it took fifty minutes total) I gratefully thanked him and hung up, at which time the phone immediately rang again, which happens when you forget, or , as in my case, don't realize that you have a caller on hold. After I said hello, the second lawyer said, "I'm still holding". Things got a little confused after that, I could hear two men talking and we all ended up laughing and hung up. I realize this is a long story, but the bottom line is, I've talked to numerous people lately, who wait for days and in a few cases, weeks, for a reply from a lawyer. My call was returned promptly, not just by one, but by two lawyers and incredibly, one waited on hold for 45 minutes, bet that! Kudos to my provider law firm.

Just recently I had some legal issue regarding my Employment Insurance claim which necessitates urgent action on my part. The law firm's receptionist promptly and cordially answered my call and it took me less than ten (10) minutes to discuss relevant matters regarding my inquiry. A few minutes later I received a call from the law firm requesting me to send all pertinent documents in order for them to formulate a sound legal advice. After a day, the same guy made a follow-up call providing me with all the necessary things I should do in order to eventually free myself from the difficult situation I am presently in. He listened carefully and attentively. He gave me smart, simple, clear, honest and straightforward answers to all my questions and queries based on legal standpoint. He even encouraged me to call back anytime in case another situation arises out of the same issue. I do not have the exact words on how to describe the feeling of being accorded a very special treatment and accommodation from one of the most highly respected law firms in B.C. by just paying a very affordable monthly premium.
