I am adept at adding the impact of e-marketing to marketing organizations. I introduce best practices, direct and generate content, and add new tools to organizational websites and e-marketing campaigns. A SEO project I lead resulted in my organization being ranked in top 3 on Google in a tightly competitive field.
I have ad agency and client-side experience managing Canadian and international market research and creative campaigns. In addition, I possess advanced knowledge of why and how media work.
I calmly manage details and budgets. I am a keen communicator attuned to how people relate to each other and to organizations. For example, I coordinated a bilingual five million dollar TV, radio, print, outdoor and online campaign that won an award.

Success Stories: Search Engine Optimization Increases Exposure to Clients
As a sales manager in a tightly competitive field, I realized the power and importance of high ranking key word searches in Google, in order to increase our exposure to potential clients. I convinced management to allocate a budget for that effort. I met with three different experts in the field, read about the current trends and decided to execute the campaign in house. I selected the appropriate key words that defined the business and added the data into the content management system. Within a month, we ranked markedly higher, and at times #1, in Google search results, and increased our exposure to potential clients.
Dashboard Increases Hospital Efficiency
As a communications consultant at Bridgepoint Health hospital, I met with various decision makers and IT personnel in order to develop a hospital-wide Portal. This online tool allowed executives to promptly receive operational information about the hospital in the beginning of each day. The project involved defining business needs from executives, evaluating available information and data gaps, designing interactive tools to deliver the data and measuring the effectiveness of such data on the organization€™s operations. I utilized my business background with project management tools to deliver an important tool, named ‘Dashboard€™, which enabled increased efficiency within executives.
Innovative Research Methods for Business Information
As the senior consultant in a marketing consultancy agency, I identified a need and opportunity to supply business intelligence to my clients. The intelligence gaps included: competitors€™ market share figures, new product releases information and other business innovations that my clients€™ competitors were involved in. Some of this information could have been found in business libraries, but, I decided to initiate a new manner of finding competitive intelligence. I searched for and developed a list of business related websites where this information could be found. I monitored developments on a regular basis and cross-checked the information with published sources for accuracy. I then compiled the information into reports and presented it to my clients. This information allowed them to better understand market trends and to adjust their marketing initiatives accordingly. This unprecedented way to collect information was introduced ten years ago in 1998. I have continued to find new ways for organizations to use the internet to get an edge over competitors.
Testimonial: €œI engaged Sharon Magor to develop a comprehensive Communications Strategy for my agency. This plan wouldn€™t be without extreme difficulties as not only it required interactions with diverse stakeholders, sometimes with opposite needs/perspectives; but it had an unrealistic deadline. Mr. Magor developed a fast-paced project, producing immediate results. He made himself available for a myriad of meetings, where his participation was key. A comprehensive communications strategy was shortly achieved with focused delivery and clear goals. Much to the benefit of our agency, Sharon Magor was able to aptly re-focus our goals and deadlines to mirror our vision. I truly recommend Sharon Magor for all aspects of Marketing, from branding to communication strategies and deployment.€? July 30, 2009
