occasionally or remotely need access to host data and
information. These products are server-based thin clients and
browser-based applets and provide tools for managing the
applications and users' access to the hosts. The HostPublishing
System, EXTRA! Objects SDK, and EXTRA! Developer Series provide
organizations that need to develop host data into Web-based or
client/server custom applications. Attachmate's EHG also offers
PathWay for world-class NFS, TCP/IP, and Internet solutions;
NetWizard for desktop management; and hardware solutions for
high-performance connectivity.
Unisys Computing Group
The Unisys Computing Group (UCG) InfoConnect products provide
connectivity and client/server solutions to users of Unisys
hosts, as well as high performance remote access, and enterprise
client management solutions. Attachmate is the dominant provider
of Unisys connectivity and uses this expertise to perform complex
platform migration for multi-host customers.
Specialty Products Group
The Specialty Products Group (SPG) provides specialized computing
solutions, with a focus on niche markets for Attachmate's legacy
products. SPG products include the acclaimed IRMA family of
hardware adapter cards for 3270 COAX, Twinax, and SDLC. RLN and
RLN Remote Plus deliver remote management solutions. Crosstalk
Classic is the cost effective answer for asynchronous terminal
and basic VT emulation. PathWay for Open VMS a powerful, reliable
and scalable TCP/IP offers network connectivity suite for Open
VMS-based standalone workstations and Alpha AXP/VAX cluster
environments. EXTRA! for Dos and ZIP! SNA server continue to
provide the most respected DOS based 3270 connections in the
industry.
