NAIMA Canada is the association for North American manufacturers of fibre glass, rock wool, and slag wool insulation products in Canada. NAIMA Canada€™s primary activities are to promote energy efficiency and environmental initiatives in the building sector.
• Founding partner in the development of REEEP in Canada (The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership). The goal of REEEP is to expand the global market for renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable development through policy initiatives and the financing of innovative energy projects.
• NAIMA Canada actively participated in the €œGlobal Blueprint€? workshop, where 60 elite experts comprised of policy makers, business representatives, and academicians from Mexico, Canada, Europe and the U.S. came together to pursue a sustainable plan for buildings.

• Member participation on the board of CIPEC.
• Involvement with Thermal Insulation Association of Canada (TIAC). Association d€™ Insulation Québec (AIQ) and the government of Quebec on development of baselines and best practices for energy efficiency in commercial buildings.
• Board member of the Conservation Council of Ontario (CCO).
• Member of the REEEP Advisory Committee as an Energy Efficiency Industry Representative.
• Board Member of Ottawa Enviro Center-Part of Green Communities Canada.
• Member of the Consumer Council of Canada.
• Standing Committee for update to the Canadian Model National Energy Code for Buildings.
• Management Team and Board Member of Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance (CEEA).
• Member of Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance and part of the Building Code Advisory Committee.
• Partner in Ontario €œBest Practices Guide€? for near full-height insulation in below grade applications.
• Presentation to the Manitoba Fire Commissions Building Standards Committee on Energy Efficiency in Housing Codes 2007.
