In 2004, a forward-looking group of restoration specialists recognized they could benefit by creating a network for their common concerns and interests. They organized the Canadian Disaster Restoration Group (CDRG), which today is Canada€™s new voice for disaster restoration.
The Canadian Disaster Restoration Group is the voice of Canada€™s insurance related losses. Representing interests of the restoration specialists insurance companies, CDRG is uniquely positioned to speak to insurance companies on a wide range of issues.
CDRG network members are representatives of experienced and best equipped
specialists in the disaster restoration industry. Members from all
across Canada are required to certified and active members of their
respective national association to ensure state of the art technical
knowledge and skills, while remaining abreast of the latest insurance
industry requirements. CDRG is very optimistic about their group€™s
future potential based upon the benefits that have already been realized

Who is the CDRG CAT Team?
The Canadian Disaster Restoration Group was formed to meet the varied needs of customers affected by catastrophic weather events, floods and other catastrophes. Realizing that these potentially life-altering events would require specialized skills from our team, and support management team, we€™ve developed a unique group of individuals dedicated to handling catastrophe claims.

The Team
The team includes approximately 200 certified members, support staff and management. It's segmented into regional units across the country that can respond quickly to disasters, no matter where they occur.
Mobile Response Units
The CAT team has a fleet of Mobile Response Units serving as offices on wheels and one of the largest fleet of commercial drying equipment. These units are specially outfitted motor homes, are equipped with office space, satellite phones, computer jacks, data lines, FAX and copiers. They provide a convenient place for those affected by a catastrophic event to file a claim, meet with an adjuster, or just get a hot cup of coffee.
