The Chromatography Laboratory performs a wide variety of analytical testing ranging from established compendial methods to new methods developed to meet a client€™s specific needs. The majority ofour organic analyses are non-routine and customer specific. Some factors which can influence each project include the sample matrix, number of analytes, the ability to resolve all components in a single separation, and the type of sample preparation required.
The capability and pricing information noted below is based on representative sample types and analytes processed in our Chromatography Department. This list is by no means exhaustive. We develop new analytical methods on a regular basis. Much of the work performed in the Chromatography Department has involved the development of new methods or the modification of existing methods for application to a variety of matrices.

Over 600 different procedures are used in the analysis of organic, inorganic, metal, paper and pulp, coal, water and waste samples. To provide clients with the most accurate data possible, Maple Labs. offers multiple method options; state-of-the-art instrumentation; technical, regulatory, and industry-specific expertise; and a comprehensive Quality Assurance program.
Maple labs€™s technical staff reviews all incoming samples and determines which procedures will yield the most accurate results for the specific sample type. PHARMACEUTICALS / REAGENTS / FOOD ADDITIVES
ASSAYS AND MONOGRAPHS
Maple Labs. performs hundreds of monographs and assays annually. Some of these are client-specific, while others come directly from compendial sources such as ACS, USP/NF, JP, EP, and FCC. Familiarity with these methods makes Maple Labs. a valuable partner in applying existing procedures to experimental pharmaceuticals or new products. The technical staff always works closely with clients to ensure the use of appropriate procedures at each stage of product development as well as providing continuous quality control support for normal production runs.
Many additional assays and monographs are available beyond those listed in the alphabetical section. Standard turnaround time for complete monographs is three weeks. Due to the frequency of compendial method revisions, monograph pricing may become outdated. Please contact Customer Relations for current price confirmation.
WET CHEMISTRY
Our Wet Chemistry Laboratory performs a wide range of tests using instrumental and classical methods from ASTM, ACS, AOAC, EPA, TAPPI, USP/NF, FCC, EP, and JP. Special methods and client-specified procedures for individual sample types and determinations are routinely performed.
LIMITS OF IMPURITY

PHYSICAL TESTING
Because materials and processes can be defined and controlled using physical properties as well as their elemental or molecular composition, Maple LAbs. provides a wide variety of physical tests. A growing number of these tests are performed each year. Tests are performed in accordance with a wide range of compendial methods from ASTM, EPA, TAPPI, and USP.
