Somerville is a selfish, self-serving bully. I worked for him some years ago on his photography magazine. His publishing strategy is unethitical, and panders to advertisers. The atmosphere in the QC office was poisonous - everybody was unhappy, and hated the mindless creep he hired to bully everyone when he wasn't around to do it himself. my hiring process included an assessment by a psychology firm who, in the post-test interview, said that I would probably be unable to tolerate Somerville and the second-in-command who did his dirtywork. I foolishly joined anyway. Stay away for your own good!
